Bible verse: Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
Life Point:
Prayer is not only a time to present our needs before God; it is also the place where God reveals His direction. Many people pray asking God to bless their plans, but God desires to reveal His plans to us. As we seek Him sincerely, He gives wisdom, clarity, and guidance for every decision.
The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5–6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
God’s direction comes to those who acknowledge Him through prayer. Sometimes He speaks through His Word, sometimes through the peace of the Holy Spirit, and sometimes by opening and closing doors. But His guidance always agrees with His Word.
Jesus Himself demonstrated this principle. Before choosing His twelve disciples, He spent the whole night in prayer in Luke 6:12–13.
If the Son of God sought the Father’s direction through prayer, how much more should we?
Many wrong decisions are made because people move before they pray. But those who wait on God receive divine direction that leads to peace, purpose, and success.
Child of God I encourage you to pray before making major decisions, be patient and wait for God’s answer , study God’s Word, because His direction will never contradict Scripture, obey His leading, even when you do not fully understand it.
Every sincere prayer brings you closer to God’s will. When you pray, God not only hears you, He directs you. Never rush ahead of God. Seek Him first, and He will faithfully reveal the path you should take. In the book of Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go , I will guide you with My eye.
Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, teach me to seek You before every decision. As I pray, reveal Your will, direct my steps, and keep me from every wrong path. Give me heart that trust and obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
