Bible verse: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6
LIFE POINT :
There are moments in life when prayer alone seems not enough. You have prayed, fasted, cried, and waited, yet the situation remains unchanged. In such moments, Heaven gives another instruction:
“Have you prayed? Try praise!”
Prayer is asking God to move, but praise is celebrating God before He moves.
Praise is faith in action. It is declaring that God is still good even before the breakthrough comes.
Praise invites GOD’S PRESENCE the Psalmist wrote “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
God dwells in an atmosphere of praise. Complaining pushes faith away, but praise invites the presence of God.
When you praise Fear disappears, Faith rises, Peace enters your heart, instead of magnifying the problem, praise magnifies God.
Praise wins BATTLES . It is written in second Book of Chronicles
“And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord… and when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir…”
King Jehoshaphat was surrounded by enemies. Instead of trusting only in weapons, he sent praisers ahead of the army.
The moment praise began, God fought for them, Enemies destroyed themselves, Victory came supernaturally.
Some battles cannot be won by strength or wisdom alone. They require praise.
Praise breaks chains . In
Acts of the Apostles
“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God… and suddenly there was a great earthquake… and immediately all the doors were opened.”
Paul the Apostle and Silas were imprisoned, beaten, and chained. Yet at midnight they praised God.
Praise produced an earthquake. Open doors. Broken chains. Divine freedom.
There are chains that praise can destroy. Chains of fear
Chains of delay, Chains of sickness, Chains of discouragement.
Praise is a SACRIFICE
In the book of Hebrews
“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually…”
True praise is not only when life is easy. Genuine praise continues even during pain and waiting.
A sacrifice of praise means, Praising through tears, Praising before results appear, Praising while trusting God.
Anyone can praise after victory, but strong believers praise before victory.
Thanksgiving completes prayer. As the Psalmist declared “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise…” Also in first Thessalonians
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Many believers know how to ask, but few remember to thank God.
Thanksgiving is proof of trust. It says:
“Lord, even before I see the answer, I believe You are working.”
Praise changes the atmosphere of the heart.
When sadness comes, Praise God, Worship Him, Speak of His goodness.
Child of God the devil cannot remain comfortable where sincere praise is rising.
Have you prayed about your family?
Have you prayed about your finances?
Have you prayed about your health?
Have you prayed about your future?
Now hear this prophetic instruction !
TRY PRAISE!
Praise Him in the morning.
Praise Him at midnight.
Praise Him before the answer comes.
Praise Him until fear disappears.
Praise Him until Heaven responds.
Your praise may be the key that unlocks the miracle your prayer has been waiting for.
PRAYER:
Father, teach me to praise You in every season. Let our praise break chains, open doors, bring healing, and release victory into my life . May thanksgiving never depart from my mouth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.”
