Bible Text: Psalm 124:1–2 . If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say, If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us.
LIFE POINT:
Beloved, when we look back at our lives, we can only testify that it was the Lord who brought us this far. There were battles we could not fight, dangers we could not see, and challenges we could not overcome by our own strength.
If not for God's mercy, where would we be today?
God Has Been Our Defender
The enemy may have risen against us, but God did not allow us to be consumed.
The book of Exodus 14:14 says The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
God Has Sustained Us Through Difficult Times
We have passed through storms, disappointments, and trials, yet we are still standing because His grace has sustained us.
Isaiah 43:2: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee.
Our Help Comes from the Lord. Our confidence is not in human beings or earthly possessions, but in the Almighty God, who created heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8. says Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
If the Lord had not been on our side, the enemy would have prevailed. Therefore, let us never forget His goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. The God who kept us yesterday will continue to strengthen us today.
Hallelujah to the Lamb of God
PRAYER.
Father, thank You for being on my side. Fight my battles, protect my family, destroy every trap of the enemy, and let my life become a testimony of Your faithfulness. May I never lose Your presence or Your favour, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
