LIFE POINT:
Many believers are fervently praying for change, but they still hold on to the same mindset that produced their present situation. Prayer is powerful, but God also calls us to renew our thinking.
Some people desire a change in their lives, families, finances, and spiritual walks, yet they continue to think in the same old patterns. God is not only interested in changing our circumstances, He wants to transform our minds.
A renewed life begins with a renewed mind. If our thoughts remain bound by fear, doubt, bitterness, and unbelief, we may struggle to walk into the new things God has prepared for us.
The Israelites left Egypt physically, but many still carried Egypt in their minds. That old mentality prevented an entire generation from entering the Promised Land Numbers 14:28-30.
God declares in Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing. Yet to embrace the new thing, we must let go of old ways of thinking.
The Word of God renews our minds, strengthens our faith, and aligns our thoughts with heaven. As we meditate on Scripture and obey God’s instructions, genuine transformation takes place.
The book of Proverbs 23:7 says For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he and the book of Philippians 4:8 says Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. And finally Ephesians 4:23 says And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
A child of God does not only pray for a new season, but rather develops a new mindset. When your thinking changes according to God’s Word, your actions change, your faith grows, and your life begins to reflect the transformation you have been praying for!

PRAYER :
Father, renew my mind by Your Word. Remove every limiting thought, every fear, and every pattern that hinders my growth. Help me to think according to Your truth so that I may walk in the fullness of the change You have ordained for my life, in Jesus matchless name. Amen.
