Words of wisdom: And while all Isreal passed on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan. Joshua 3:17
Words of wisdom:
And while all Isreal passed on dry ground, the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan until all the nation finished passing over the Jordan. Joshua 3:17
Life Point:
The above scripture lets us know that the nation of Israel finally did cross the Jordan to enter the promised land.
The sad thing is that they could have crossed over much sooner than they did.
Why the delay? Wilderness MENTALITIES , patterns of thinking that kept them wandering in the wilderness and out of promised Land for forty years.
One of the Isrealites’ wilderness mentalities was an impatient attitude. They did not know how to stay calm and to be long suffering through the hardships of their journey.
How could these people possibly be ready to go into the Promised Land and drive off the current occupants so they could possess the land if they could not even remain patient and steadfast during a little inconvenience.
Child of God I really encourage you to work with the Holy Spirit as He develops the fruit of patience in you .
The more you resist Him, the longer the process will take.
Learn to respond patiently in all kinds of trials and you will find yourself living not in the wilderness, but in the joy of God’s promise for your life, your own Promised Land!
Hallelujah to the Lamb of God Amen!
Prayer:
