The greatest proof of love is sacrifice. God demonstrated His unconditional love for humanity by sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Jesus did not merely speak about love; He demonstrated it through His sacrifice on the cross.
As believers, we are called not only to receive God's love but also to demonstrate that love to others through our actions.
Love Requires Sacrifice
John 15:13 says Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
True love is willing to sacrifice time, resources, comfort, and personal interests for the good of others. Love is not selfish; it seeks to bless, uplift, and encourage others.
Love Must Be Demonstrated Through Actions
1 John 3:18 says My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
It is not enough to say, “I love you.” We must demonstrate love by forgiving those who offend us, helping the needy, encouraging the weak, and showing compassion to those who are suffering.

John 13:35 says By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Beloved, Jesus laid down His life for us, therefore, we must lay down our selfishness, pride, and bitterness to become vessels of His love. Let us love sincerely, forgive freely, and serve faithfully.
